VA Corporation launches different ethnic virtual humans

VA Corporation has unveiled three virtual humans of various races, the first in Korea to be developed through its virtual human technology.

VA Corporation's three multiracial virtual humans are Asian, Caucasian, and black, reflecting various racial characteristics. Realistically embodying the representative features of each race, such as eyes, hair, and skin, each model resonates with the public through their familiar yet attractive appearance and natural styling rather than their outstanding looks. In a metaverse world where the boundaries of nationality are blurred, we plan to expand the activity radius of virtual humans of various races.

VA Corporation has been accumulating and developing the original technology for virtual humans since 2017 by advancing VFX-based technologies and digital human/digital character-related technologies. We are continuously conducting R&D to realize digital humans and digital characters that can be operated and controlled in real time, not just design and 3D production technology, and are applying them to real project.

VA Corporation plans to create synergy by incorporating virtual humans and virtual characters into various metaverse content industries such as movies, dramas, performances, live commerce, magazine photos, and advertisements that it produces. In addition, the company plans to expand into the global market by utilizing virtual humans of various races to act as global entertainers.

An official from VA Corporation said, "With the recent high interest in virtual humans in the industry, we expect that the scope and field of utilization will be infinite by releasing virtual humans that reflect various ethnic characteristics." "Having our own mature virtual human IP will be a great opportunity to expand into new businesses in the metaverse market."
