VA Corporation led a strategic investment in AMBERIN, performance content company. The investment will accelerate the development of content technology capabilities.

AMBERIN is a performance content specialist company with strengths in holographic, extended reality (XR), and augmented reality (AR) content. Since its establishment in 2007, the company has produced over 20,000 performance content works and expanded into the XR content sector in 2020. AMBERIN has been appreciated for its planning, technical, and virtual performance operation capabilities through its production of events such as MAMA, KCON:TACT, and ON THE MOVE, which combined AR and XR content.

VA Corporation aims to expand its production range into immersive exhibitions and performances with this investment, and also strengthen its metaverse content production technology. VA Corporation will collaborate with AMBERIN, a strategic partner with high VFX and XR/AR technology, to conduct technology R&D and develop new type of content.

The two companies will also carry out human resource incubation suitable for content production and establish a stable operating system for VA Corporation’s Studio. In response to the growing demand for content due to the growth of the OTT market, the company plans to strengthen its content production pipeline for stable production and supply.

The CEO of VA Corporation, Dong-eon Kim, stated that "With this investment, we will expand the scope of production to include hologram, XR, AR performance and immersive exhibitions, and secure a leading position in the supply of domestic and foreign content." He also said, "Starting with that, we will continue to expand our strategic investments and become a leading domestic content specialist company, enhancing our competitiveness."
