VA Corporation upgraded the performance of Korean contemporary dance group, Ambiguous Dance Company through its virtual production technology in this 'Disney+ Korea Launching Show'. Using the VA Studio in Hanam, Asia's largest LED wall-based studio, they perfectly implemented Korean landmarks as 3D backgrounds to present a more dynamic stage. They overcame the production limitations of on-site location shooting with their technology to create an immersive performance.
Furthermore, VA Corporation, along with its subsidiary Mofac, presented mega shows using projection mapping technology (a technique that projects images made of light onto the surface of an object) at various locations throughout the country, including Dongdaemun Design Plaza, Samsung Station Intersection, and Jeonju Hanok Village. They demonstrated their one-stop content production solution capabilities by creating a show that harmonizes global content and Korean sentiment based on Disney+'s various content IPs.
Equipped with the best virtual production technology in Korea, the Disney+ launching congratulatory show was hosted by MCs Shin Dong-yeop and Park Sun-young. It featured performances by well-known domestic artists such as Ok Ju-hyun, Ailee, bass baritone Gil Byung-min, and music director Kim Sung-soo, as well as mega events and performances by the Hungarian Budapest Scoring Orchestra, 23 Orchestra, and Ambiguous Dance Company.
