VA Corporation Signs MOU with Korea National University of Arts for Virtual Production Education Program and Film Production

VA Corporation has partnered with the Korea National University of Arts to promote the development of the virtual production industry and to educate talented students.

VA Corporation announced on the 18th that they have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Korea National University of Arts for the development and operation of programs for virtual production content creation and education.

The main goal of this agreement is to develop and operate educational programs to train individuals with the necessary skills in various fields to expand the scope of virtual production. Additionally, the two parties plan to provide the required resources, such as technology and professional expertise, data, for film production that utilizes virtual production.

Both parties have agreed to jointly develop a curriculum for virtual production education targeting the Korea National University of Arts students, which will be offered from the latter half of this year. Furthermore, they plan to actively support student and researcher exchange through workshops, practical training, and more in the realm of education and research. VA Corporation will also provide financial support for the production expenses required for students' feature and short film projects.

In addition, VA Corporation will support the entire process of virtual production, including shooting, by providing the necessary technology and studio infrastructure. They will also assign expert personnel to offer mentoring programs.

An official from VA Corporation stated, "With the global attention on K-contents on the rise, we hope to expand education and practical experience in virtual production to nurture more talent. Through our support for studio and shooting technology based on the largest LED wall virtual production in Asia, we will also strengthen our competitiveness in content production."

Kim Daejin, the President of Korea National University of Arts, expressed, "I am very pleased that Korea National University of Arts, along with VA Corporation, which leads the trend in virtual production, is creating a platform for talent development. I hope our collaboration will contribute to enhancing and advancing the competitiveness of K-contents."
